Fake Tilt-shift Effect in Sony Vegas Pro 9

Here’s a quick test I did for a fake tilt-shift effect in Sony Vegas Pro 9.

Starts out with the original clip with no effects, then the same footage with the effects applied.

Basically, I cloned the video track, used a feathered mask on the first track, and applied a Gaussian blur to the second track… played around with the colors/brightness a bit, and cropped the whole thing to 16:9.
